Data we process
When you send an enquiry, we process your name, email address, villa preference, message, language and limited technical anti-abuse information. The technical identifier used for rate limiting is stored as a one-way hash rather than a raw IP address.
Why we process it
Enquiry data is used to answer your request and to take steps related to a potential or existing stay. Security logs are used to protect the website and administrator account from abuse.
Google Maps
Google Maps is not loaded until you allow external map content. If you allow it, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser information. You can still use the directions links without loading the embedded maps.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site stores only essential preferences, such as your Google Maps privacy choice. The administrator area uses session storage for authentication and is not intended for guests.
Retention
Website enquiries are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to handle guest communication and related business needs. Security login-attempt records are automatically cleaned after seven days. CMS backup snapshots are retained for 30 days.
Your rights
Under applicable EU data-protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data and may object where applicable. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Security
The website uses encrypted HTTPS in production, access controls, row-level database security, rate limiting, restricted uploads and security headers. No security system can provide an absolute guarantee, but access is limited according to least-privilege principles.
